Founder • Instructional Designer • Hiker
Rema Merrick’s passion for learning and technology led her to pursue and receive a Master of Science in instructional technology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2015. In addition, she has a Bachelor of Arts in applied psychology from Pennsylvania State University.
She has a seventeen-year background in the aviation industry, which gives her a unique approach to instructional design. The aviation industry is adept at developing systematic and consistent ways to transfer safety-related information to employees. She has developed asynchronous and synchronous e-Learning, face-to-face instructor-led training (ILT) and training documents for over 100,000 aviation employees at American Airlines, Inc.
When she is not working, you may find her hiking. In early November 2016, she hiked the Rucu peak of the Pichincha volcano in Quito, Ecuador. The highest elevation is 15,728 feet (4,794 meters). It was incredible.
